• Minor spelling corrections (e.g., "Sara" → "Sarah") - max 3 characters
• Legal name changes with official documentation
• Addition/removal of middle names to match passport
• Marriage/divorce name changes with certificate

❌ Not Allowed

• Transferring ticket to another person
• Complete surname changes without legal proof
• Nickname substitutions (e.g., "Billy" → "William")

Fees (CAD)

• 75−200 per change (depends on route/fare type)
• $25 processing fee + any fare difference
• Free for Air Transat Vacations packages
• No fee for legal name changes with documentation

Required Documents

• Clear passport copy
• Booking confirmation number
• Legal documents (for significant changes)
• Completed Name Change Request Form

Processing Time

• 5-7 business days standard processing
• 48-hour expedited service for $50
